After obtaining her Master’s degree in Architecture, Dea wanted to combine her passion for creating beautiful spaces, with her interest in human psychology. Listening to people’s needs and finding spatial solutions for them, is something that she became very good at. She loves the challenge of designing multifunctional interiors and furniture for small Amsterdam apartments and tiny houses. Working very closely with tradesmen during the construction/ production phase, Dea has developed a very hands-on approach to design and project management. Her extensive knowledge of materials and 3D applications has established trust and clear communication with our clients as well as the professionals who work with us.
“Our clients open up their homes and their hearts to us, I take this with great responsibility and respect.” – Dea
Tommy is a third-generation Carpenter & Furniture maker from the UK. Following the footsteps of his grandfather and father, he started working with them at the age of 16, where he learned construction and interior carpentry. At the age of 21, Tommy did his apprenticeship in fine furniture making to further expand his knowledge and skillset. Tommy’s kind and organized manner are reflected both in the workshop and on-site. It’s really important for him to evoke smooth collaboration with our clients and coworkers, which in turn establishes trust between all parties involved in the construction site.
Very happy with Tommy’s work! Easy to communicate with, quickly understands what you have in mind and comes up with good suggestions and ideas. Would definitely work with him again for any carpentry or installation project in or around the house.
Tommy has done a couple of jobs for me now, and I'm always really happy with his work and attitude. He's enthusiastic, has a good eye for detail, and will think with the project. He also has a solid background of construction experience; his dad is a builder so he learned the basics at a very young age, which shows in his confident approach to both carpentry and general building. Looking forward to hiring him again, it's a pleasure to know the job will get done without having to worry about it.
I collaborated with Bespoke Works to produce OpenDesk furniture for my personal use. I am thankful for their extensive material knowledge, problem solving skills and attention to detail. I will definitely keep relying on their expertise in my future projects.
Really happy with the furniture that they made for our new office!
